[Genius Terminal Founder Responds to Controversy Over Points Rule Modification: Points Are 'Additional Benefits' Subject to Adjustment at Any Time]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports, on September 25, according to community feedback, the crypto trading terminal Genius Terminal (@GeniusTerminal), invested in by YZi Labs, was accused of unilaterally modifying the second-season points rules without issuing an official announcement or consulting the community. Additionally, the platform postponed the unlocking of 70 million GENIUS tokens, originally promised for October 25, 2023, to 2028, causing a risk of devaluation for points earned by users through real transaction fees. In response, co-founder Ryan Myher (@ryanmyher) stated that points are considered 'additional benefits,' and the platform reserves the right to adjust the rules based on actual circumstances. He also assured that his own tokens would not be unlocked earlier than those of users.
