Over $30 million long position explosion! BTC withdraws from exchanges, market begins to deleverage?

The cryptocurrency market experienced an overall correction today. As of press time, BTC was reported at $84247, down 2.28% in 24 hours; ETH closed at $2681, down 2.64%; SOL reported $115.02, down 3.00%; XRP fell 4.96%, DOGE fell 7.56%, ZEC fell 8.75%, and mainstream cryptocurrency assets generally weakened.
In the derivatives market, leveraged bulls continue to face pressure. According to AiCoin data, in the past 24 hours, there have been approximately 1.919 billion US dollars of online liquidation, of which 1.573 billion US dollars were from long positions, accounting for about 82%; Short positions were liquidated by approximately 346 million US dollars. In the past hour, approximately 28.82 million US dollars have been liquidated across the entire network, of which about 25.84 million US dollars were liquidated by long positions, accounting for nearly 90%.
From the liquidation list, almost all of the top ten or so 24-hour liquidation amounts come from BTC and ETH perpetual contracts, with the largest being ETH/USDT perpetual multiple orders, with a liquidation amount of approximately 10.04 million US dollars; The total amount of the first ten liquidation transactions has exceeded 30 million US dollars, indicating that this round of adjustment is mainly driven by concentrated liquidation of leveraged long positions.
At the same time, the total Open Interest of Hyperliquid has dropped to $15.887 billion, breaking below the $16 billion mark, with long positions totaling approximately $8.086 billion. The continuous decline in position size reflects that the market is undergoing a deleveraging process, and short-term trading sentiment has cooled down compared to before.
There is another set of noteworthy data on the flow of funds on the chain. In the past 24 hours, approximately 21600 BTC have flowed out of the exchange wallet, valued at approximately $2.159 billion at current prices. Among them, Binance has a net outflow of about 15200 BTC, and Coinbase Pro has a net outflow of about 4577 BTC. The continuous outflow of BTC from the exchange usually means that some chips have turned to on chain wallets or long-term custody addresses, and the tradable chips on the exchange have decreased.
In addition, AiCoin's large transaction monitoring shows that there was a market price transaction of approximately 121.91 BTC on Coinbase during trading, with a transaction amount of approximately 10.28 million US dollars and a transaction price of approximately 84320 US dollars. A single large transaction reflects the involvement of funds during the trading session, but the impact on the overall trend still needs to be further observed in conjunction with subsequent trading volume and on chain fund flow.
Overall, there are currently two funding clues in the market: one is the rapid deleveraging of the contract market and the concentrated liquidation of long positions; On the other hand, BTC continues to flow out of the exchange, while spot chips are still being transferred.
Whether the market can stabilize in the future still depends on whether derivative holdings have stopped falling and rebounded, as well as whether the flow of funds on the chain continues.
