Elon Musk's business empire might be expanding again. Recently, Paramount has been spending big bucks to acquire Warner Bros. Once the deal is done, media outlets like CNN, broadcaster CBS, and production company HBO will all fall under the same umbrella. But since the transaction is so expensive, the company is considering inviting Musk to join as a shareholder. Why? Because the current Paramount boss’s dad is none other than Larry Ellison, the biggest backer of this acquisition. This guy invested in Tesla back in 2018 and even served on Tesla’s board for a few years. Later, in 2022, when Musk privatized Twitter (now X), Ellison threw in $1 billion. Given their close relationship, the company is already discussing whether they should bring Musk on board as a shareholder. Semafor has exclusively revealed this news.
