[FATF Releases Turkey's 2026 Anti-Money Laundering Mutual Evaluation Report, Listed on Enhanced Follow-Up List] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 23, according to the FATF official website, the FATF released Turkey's 2026 mutual evaluation report. The report indicates that Turkey has made progress in the use of financial intelligence and international cooperation. However, significant deficiencies remain in areas such as money laundering investigations related to high-risk predicate crimes (drug trafficking, illegal gambling, etc.), recovery of overseas assets, and suspicious transaction reporting. Turkey received a 'partially compliant' rating in two areas: targeted financial sanctions related to proliferation financing (R.7) and regulation of non-profit organizations (R.8). As a result, Turkey has been placed on the enhanced follow-up list and must complete key rectifications within three years and report progress regularly.
