Firecrawl Completes $75 Million Series B Financing and Launches AI Intelligent Agent Data Platform Alexandria

Web data infrastructure company Firecrawl announced on Platform X that it has completed a $75 million Series B financing round, led by Smash Capital. The company also launched Alexandria, a knowledge base designed for AI intelligent agents, aiming to provide unified access to real-time web data, official data providers, and professional indexes for intelligent agents. According to the official page, Alexandria currently integrates 82 data providers, 471 data capabilities, and over 113 million papers, READMEs, issues, and technical documents, covering 28 categories such as finance, government, code, shopping, and real estate. It supports access via MCP, CLI, and API. Firecrawl stated that internal testing showed Alexandria delivers 21% higher answer quality compared to built-in web tools for approximately 1,000 directory-type questions.
