[U.S. IPO Market Cools Down, Anthropic's Anticipated Filing Yet to Be Submitted] According to Bloomberg, only three companies completed IPOs in September following the U.S. Labor Day holiday. Nuclear power service company Holtec Nuclear and insurance service company Bamboo Insurance recently postponed their listings, citing market conditions. Bloomberg's compiled data shows that of the more than 24 companies that have publicly filed for U.S. IPOs since July and are working with at least one leading Wall Street investment bank, only nine have completed their listings. The highly anticipated AI company Anthropic was previously expected to publicly file its listing documents as early as the end of August, but as of the time of reporting, it has yet to submit them. The report states that some companies and their investors are concerned that large-scale IPO projects may divert the attention of long-term investors and sovereign wealth funds, opting to wait for a more suitable issuance window.
