U.S. TO REMOVE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF OBAMACARE ENROLLEES Leading players operating in the marketplace for Affordable Care Act plans traded lower on Tuesday after the Trump administration announced plans to remove hundreds of thousands of people from the ACA public exchanges due to allegations of fraud. The White House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, led by Vice President JD Vance, plans to cancel subsidy payments for 750,000 individual accounts in ACA exchanges, alleging their enrollments were unauthorized and fraudulent. The administration also will remove hundreds of brokers and agents who wrongly signed ACA enrollees for government healthcare, Vance and Dr. Mehmet Oz, the administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said during a press conference on Tuesday.
