[CFTC to Host Frontier Forum Series Roundtable Discussions, First Session Focuses on AI and Agentic Finance] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on September 21, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Innovation Task Force announced the launch of the Frontier Forum Series, a series of public roundtable discussions aimed at fostering open dialogue on innovative financial technologies reshaping U.S. financial markets. The inaugural Frontier Forum is scheduled for October 28, 2026, with the theme of Artificial Intelligence and Agentic Finance (AI and agentic finance). This series of forums will bring together builders and industry representatives from both the public and private sectors to explore how regulators can promote responsible financial innovation while protecting market participants and maintaining the integrity and resilience of U.S. financial markets. CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig stated that market-transforming technologies are evolving rapidly, and the CFTC needs to engage directly with the builders, users, and researchers of these technologies.
