Recently, security agencies disclosed that the iOS app FomoPeek (v1.1~v1.2) contains malicious code capable of stealing sensitive information like wallet private keys stored locally on devices, leading to asset losses for some users. This incident has sparked widespread attention in the community, and Binance has also received related inquiries from users. As of now, Binance has not identified any stolen funds from this incident flowing into the platform, nor have we received feedback from Binance users reporting asset losses due to this event. Nevertheless, the safety of user assets remains our top priority. Binance will continue to closely monitor the movement of related funds and follow up on the incident through on-chain monitoring and other methods. If any related funds are found to involve Binance in the future, or if there are indications that they have entered the Binance ecosystem, Binance will actively cooperate with relevant investigations and handling efforts.
