A single promo wiped out over 2,000 wallets. On Twitter, there’s a crypto influencer called Crypto Tingquan who specializes in hunting freebies. A while back, they promoted an app called FomoPeek, claiming it was a free airdrop tool. Over 2,000 people downloaded it, mostly folks who rely on daily check-ins and hope to snag airdrops to help cover household expenses. Last night, Binance issued a security alert. If you’re using an iPhone with iOS 26.x or earlier and have installed FomoPeek, delete it immediately and don’t reinstall it. Versions 1.1 to 1.2 of the app contained a malicious SDK that integrated 8 different iOS kernel exploit methods. It automatically selects one based on your device model and system version. Once exploited, it directly accesses your keychain, stealing private keys, seed phrases, and chat records. The affected versions range from iOS 12.0 all the way to 26.1, and the actual scope for 26.x is even broader than what the alert mentioned. Plus, FomoPeek isn’t the only app like this. A bunch of moms stormed the comment section demanding answers. The influencer locked their tweets and even changed their username. Don’t confuse them—Tingquan Jianbao has absolutely nothing to do with this Crypto Tingquan. One sponsored post, and over 2,000 wallets’ private keys are gone. This hustle is way more profitable than shilling meme coins. The next promo slot is already being negotiated.
