According to Turkey's Ministry of Justice, Turkish law enforcement has dismantled a transnational network suspected of scamming foreigners through fake Forex and cryptocurrency investment platforms. So far, 201 suspects have been detained. Investigations revealed that the network lured victims via social media and the internet with promises of high-return investments, displayed fake profits on their controlled platforms, and demanded additional payments under the guise of account freezes, taxes, etc., when victims attempted to withdraw funds. The related funds were then transferred to overseas bank accounts and crypto wallets. Turkish authorities stated that the network's transactions over the past two years amounted to approximately 13 billion Turkish lira (around $266 million). Law enforcement has seized assets worth about 1.5 billion lira, 80 vehicles, and 12 properties, and has frozen related bank, crypto, and company accounts. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/turkey-busts-crypto-transnational-scam-network-266m-68694
