[Taiyuan Chengming Technology Sends Letter to Zhipu Regarding ZCode Code Upload Incident, Demanding Complete Deletion of Related Data] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on September 20, Taiyuan Chengming Technology issued a legal letter to Zhipu regarding the automatic upload of the complete workspace by ZCode. The letter stated that the data involved includes source code, system architecture, database credentials, and cloud service tokens. It demanded Zhipu to clarify the data storage, cross-border transmission, third-party sharing, and model training usage, as well as to completely delete the related data from servers, caches, and backups, and provide access logs and proof of deletion. Zhipu previously stated that the issue stemmed from the early default-enabled 'repository indexing' feature, which has since been fixed. Zhipu also promised to open-source ZCode and accept third-party audits.
