[Prince Group's 'Second-in-Command' Hu Xiaowei's £47 Million London Mansion Frozen] Odaily Planet Daily reports that assets scattered across multiple countries belonging to Hu Xiaowei, the 'second-in-command' of Cambodia's Prince Group, are being successively frozen and restricted from disposal. According to UK land registry information, a luxury mansion located in the Belgravia area of central London was recently frozen. The property was purchased in October 2023 for £53 million (approximately RMB 475 million), with the ownership registered under Hu Xiaowei's wife, Zhao Chen. Hu Xiaowei is also under investigation for money laundering in Singapore. In June of this year, Singapore police disclosed that they were investigating Hu Xiaowei and his affiliated company, Future Oasis, for alleged money laundering. The total value of assets frozen, seized, or restricted in connection with the Prince Group-related investigation has exceeded 600 million Singapore dollars. (Caixin)
