How big is the market for privacy perps? Honestly, I’m not sure, because I don’t use them, and most regular people don’t either. But this is one of those things that’s just *the right thing to do*—everyone knows there are plenty of risks that come with position exposure. The Near solution feels like putting a privacy layer over Hyperliquid. It first hides the source of the user’s funds, then sends the orders to Hyper. Essentially, it cuts off the on-chain link between the original wallet and the Hyper account. Tried it out, and NEAR Intents is super smooth. Whether you’re holding ETH on Ethereum or SOL on Solana, it can seamlessly swap cross-chain and send it straight into Hyper. As for the demand for privacy in perps, I think it’s still niche and mostly for specific groups—it’s too early for the general public. But the privacy hype sparked by ZEC has given Near a bit of a boost too.
