GPT-6 Astra cracks a century-old German encrypted message! According to blogger @prinz, a German science website (http://scienceblogs.de) listed the 'Top 50 Unsolved Texts,' which included a German military encrypted message sent on November 27, 1918, that had never been deciphered before. GPT-6 Astra successfully decoded it, identifying the key term as 'TRUPPENVERSCHIEBUNG,' with the translation: 'A British cruiser has arrived in Sevastopol, Allied fleet to follow on the 26th.' Astra even took the initiative to verify: the British cruiser HMS Canterbury did indeed arrive in Sevastopol on November 24, and the Allied fleet followed on the 26th, matching the translation perfectly. The model also discovered that this key term was officially recorded to be activated on December 9, later than the actual date of the telegram. The reason for this discrepancy remains unclear.
