World Launches 'World Money' Super App, Covering Over 150 Countries

According to Deep Tide TechFlow on September 17, The Block reported that the identity verification crypto project formerly known as Worldcoin, now rebranded as World, has officially launched its self-custodial financial super app, World Money. The app covers over 150 countries worldwide and supports features such as stablecoin payments, trading, earnings, and virtual accounts. It supports balances in 8 currencies and integrates with Stripe, Kalshi, and Morpho. Stripe enables users to quickly convert fiat currency into stablecoins via Apple Pay. Users who complete World ID verification can earn additional rewards in eligible Earn programs. World is developed by Tools for Humanity, a company co-founded by Alex Blania and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
