[JPMorgan: Fed's Actions Provide Short-Term Support to Credit Markets] According to a report by Jinse Finance, JPMorgan strategists stated that the Federal Reserve's rate hike on Wednesday and its signal of commitment to price stability provide 'moderate support' to U.S. investment-grade corporate bond spreads in the short term. Strategists, including Nathaniel Rosenbaum, pointed out that factors supporting the spreads include yields remaining at elevated levels and the Fed's gradual rate hikes signaling a relatively low likelihood of yields spiking again. Measured by the Bloomberg U.S. Corporate Bond Index, U.S. high-grade corporate bond spreads narrowed by 2 basis points to 77 basis points on Wednesday, marking the tightest level since August 10.
