[Bitcoin's Trend Repeats 2022 Scenario: Beware of Further Decline After Short-Term Rebound]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports on September 17, citing CoinDesk, that the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points on September 16, and the market expects a further 75 basis points hike over the next six months. Bitcoin has currently fallen about 40% from its October high of approximately $126,000, similar to the 40% drop from the November 2021 high of around $69,000 following the first rate hike in March 2022. After the March 2022 rate hike, Bitcoin rebounded by about 18% within 12 days, only to subsequently decline by approximately 50%. The current trend may carry a similar risk of 'rebound first, then decline,' but the reference value of a single historical cycle is limited.
