According to WuTalk and Sina Finance, the Hong Kong ICAC has disclosed that former customer manager of China Construction Bank (Asia), Lin Junxian, admitted to a charge of conspiracy to cause an agent to accept advantages in the Hong Kong District Court. Case details reveal that during his tenure as a retail customer manager from 2022 to 2023, the defendant allegedly conspired with personnel from an overseas fintech company to unlawfully certify multiple fake standby letters of credit and collateral documents without the bank's authorization, involving transactions exceeding $1.6 billion USD. In return, the defendant received bribes worth over $470,000 in Tether (USDT), much of which had already been converted into Hong Kong dollars. The case has been adjourned to September 18 for sentencing, and the defendant is currently in custody awaiting trial. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-68548
