[Paradigm Co-Founder: The Zcash Developer Fund is Crucial, Sole Coin-Weighted Voting May Undermine Long-Term Trust] Odaily Planet Daily News – Paradigm co-founder Matt Huang shared some thoughts on Zcash via a post on the X platform, stating that the blockchain ecosystem generally faces challenges with long-term funding sources, particularly for public goods financing. He noted that funding developer funds through an inflation mechanism is a viable approach. Huang emphasized that in the context of enhanced AI network attack capabilities and the rapid development of quantum technology, the Zcash developer fund remains highly significant. He also mentioned that as Zcash gains greater acceptance and adoption as a privacy complement to Bitcoin, governance relying solely on coin-weighted voting could lead to unpredictability and impact its ability to establish long-term trust as a monetary asset. Therefore, Zcash is better suited to combine coin-weighted voting with other governance methods. Huang further disclosed that Paradigm is an investor in ZEC and ZODL. Earlier today, ZEC briefly surpassed $1,385, setting a new all-time high.
