**[U.S. Treasury Releases July International Capital Flow Report]**
Golden Finance reports that on September 17, the U.S. Treasury released the July International Capital Flow Report (TIC) on September 16 local time. The report shows that the total net inflow of all U.S. long-term and short-term securities and banking flows from overseas in July was $83.7 billion. Among them, the net inflow of private overseas capital was $73.5 billion, and the net inflow of official overseas capital was $10.2 billion.
In July, foreign investors increased their holdings of U.S. long-term securities by $40.6 billion, while U.S. investors increased their holdings of foreign long-term securities by $68.5 billion. Foreign investors increased their holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds by $38.8 billion in July, and their holdings of all U.S. short-term securities and other custodial bonds denominated in U.S. dollars increased by $65 billion. Additionally, U.S. banks' net dollar liabilities to foreign investors increased by $46.6 billion in July.
