THE BLOCK: Bitcoin miners and other emerging AI infrastructure developers have disclosed 8 GW of conditional baseload capacity and another 7 GW of conditional studied-load capacity from ERCOT, according to Bernstein. More than 5 GW of the baseload capacity is available for new AI deployments, with scarcity expected to drive lease prices higher, the analysts said.
