[Polymarket's Self-Developed Rust Indexing System Reduces On-Chain Data Latency to Within 28 Seconds]
Polymarket announced that its self-developed indexing system, built using Rust, is now live, with core support provided by the open-source tool rindexer. The new system can capture on-chain data events up to 14 blocks faster (approximately 28 seconds) than before and complete indexing within 0-10 milliseconds after block broadcasting, significantly accelerating updates for trades, positions, and balances. According to the official statement, Goldsky will still serve as a data backup solution, but the primary indexing infrastructure has been migrated to the self-developed system, which is equipped with a reorganization tracking mechanism to mitigate data risks caused by on-chain reorganizations.
