Arthur Hayes: Clarity Act does more harm than good compared to Bitcoin and US cryptocurrency innovation

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, stated that the Clarity Act in the United States is detrimental or even detrimental to the true innovation of the cryptocurrency industry and the creation of products that meet market demand. Since its inception in 2009, Bitcoin has not required the Clarity Act and will not require it in the future. Regulatory legislation should not be a prerequisite for restricting industry development and product innovation.
