In August I told CoinDesk I didn’t believe there was enough political support for CLARITY to pass this year. Today’s vote unfortunately confirmed that view. This was never about whether the U.S. needs regulatory clarity. It does. The issue was always whether politics would get in the way of policy. Now the work continues.
