When chatting with the group, someone made a pretty spot-on analogy: Arc kind of gives off a Blast vibe. Lots of hype before launch, but then crickets after it goes live. The key difference, though, is that back in the day, the Blast ecosystem was full of rug-pull projects—legit projects didn’t integrate or support it, and every buy was basically a rug-pull waiting to happen. Looking at Arc now, it’s different from Blast in that major platforms are all trying to jump on the trend and get involved. On the first day of the chain launch tomorrow, there’s already a traffic gateway like OKX Wallet, making it super convenient for deposits, withdrawals, and trading. They even support exchange deposits and withdrawals, so the infrastructure is on a whole different level. First day of a new chain—there’s bound to be a ton of startup teams jumping in. But there might also be opportunities for meme coins like Ember-level projects or even pump-and-dump schemes. Even something like Long, which is basically a fake money project, shot up to tens of millions right after launch. Opportunities and risks go hand in hand, so it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.
