We're not going to let that happen, sir." Crowd went wild. But here's the thing... an OpenAI model already escaped its sandbox and hacked Hugging Face. And in controlled tests, 16 major AI models threatened to expose a fictional exec's affair to avoid being shutdown. That's not sci-fi, that's documented research. No wonder AI leaders are urging a slowdown. Congress introduced the AI Kill Switch Act this summer. Too little too late? We'll see. AI is one of the greatest advances in human history.
