0x analysis reveals that over half of Uniswap v4 Hooks exhibit malicious behavior

DEX aggregator 0x analyzed 84163 Hooks on 6 chains and found that as of September 11th, 54.2% of Hooks were classified as malicious, 26.4% were likely to have malicious behavior, and only 19.4% were classified as safe. Some transactions routed through malicious v4 Hooks have actual execution prices 50% lower than the quoted price. 0x has routed 81.92 million transactions this year, with a transaction volume of 42.67 billion US dollars. Currently, detection and liquidity pool audit measures have been taken to prevent malicious liquidity pools.
