[Hana Securities of South Korea Signs Virtual Asset Financial Cooperation MOU with Upbit Global]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on September 14, citing Yonhap News, Hana Securities and Upbit Global, which is responsible for Upbit's overseas operations, officially signed a business cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) on September 11. The two parties will collaborate in areas such as the development of virtual asset operation business models, the design of related products and services, and the construction of infrastructure. Both companies have business bases in Singapore. Hana Securities CEO Kang Sung-mook stated that the company is accelerating its efforts in digital asset-related businesses, aligning with the institutionalization process of security token offerings (STO), and will build related infrastructure, such as issuance platforms, in phases to actively prepare for the full launch of the STO market next year.
