I see a lot of people who haven’t even figured out Robinhood Chain yet are already FOMO-ing into ARC Chain, and some are even rushing to join the Launchpad battles for top projects before it’s officially launched. What can I say? I really don’t recommend this kind of behavior: 1) Sure, on the surface, ARC, as the institutional public chain launched by the stablecoin giant Circle, looks similar to Robinhood Chain. Both are traditional financial giants stepping into blockchain, both talk about the narrative of merging TradFi and DeFi, and both aim to provide on-chain financial infrastructure. But don’t forget, the success of RH Chain is closely tied to its brokerage DNA and @vladtenev’s open attitude toward MEMEs, as well as the expansion of tokenized stock market services—things that remain unknowns for Circle; 2) The public chain hasn’t even launched yet, and there are already over a dozen Launchpad battles happening, with even top-tier projects being hyped up. Honestly, I’m sensing some very bad signals here. Those familiar with RH Chain’s early ecosystem should know that Pons didn’t rise to the top without challenges. Projects like Noxa that failed, and Poolstrade from Uniswap that emerged halfway through—behind the explosive growth, there were countless obstacles and variables. So, even if ARC ends up producing top-tier projects, it will inevitably go through a major shakeout. Instead of risking it all in the first wave of FOMO, it might be more cost-effective to wait for the dust to settle and then sift through the wreckage for potential gems; 3) As I’ve said before, brokerage DNA and institutional narratives are two completely different things. Let me remind everyone: before Robinhood Chain came onto the scene, there were projects like Tether’s Plasma and Stable, and Stripe’s Tempo—institutions building chains focused on stablecoins. Their primary goals were payment and settlement scenarios, with compliance and stability as top priorities. Many of them were strategic positioning moves. This is fundamentally different from brokerages seeking traffic, trading activity, and business expansion resilience. If trouble arises, the kind of confidence Vlad showed when standing up to AMC—I don’t think we’ll see the same thing happen with ARC. So for now, let’s focus on mastering Robinhood Chain first!
