[OpenAI Founder Altman: The Company Will Not Go Public This Year] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on September 13, citing Jin10 Data, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman recently stated publicly that the company will not initiate the process of going public this year. Altman pointed out that although OpenAI has made progress in the iteration of artificial intelligence technology, it still faces numerous complex safety challenges and ethical risks. He emphasized that ensuring the safety and controllability of large model systems remains the core task at this stage. To this end, OpenAI will continue to allocate major resources to the development and testing of foundational safety architectures, temporarily not considering the compliance pressures that may come with public market financing. Altman reiterated that the company will prioritize technological research and safety validation and will not advance the IPO process for now.
