[Circle to Cease Support for USDC and CCTP V1 on the Noble Chain] Circle has announced that, as part of the transition to the next-generation cross-chain protocol CCTP V2, it will cease support for USDC and CCTP V1 on the Noble blockchain. CCTP V2 offers faster finality and enhanced security, but Noble will not receive support for CCTP V2. New USDC minting on Noble via Circle Mint will stop on October 13, and the USDC contract on Noble will be suspended on January 12, 2027. Circle stated that all USDC on Noble can still be redeemed at a 1:1 ratio.
