ETH's die-hard bull Tom Lee is starting to turn bearish and predicting a pullback? He believes the market might see a correction in the second half of this year. The main reasons: on one hand, the U.S. midterm elections, the Federal Reserve's monetary policy, and the fact that there are too many bulls with high leverage betting on $BTC's rise—all these factors could increase $BTC's price volatility. On the other hand, there’s still significant disagreement and uncertainty about whether U.S. inflation can be brought down. My take: Europe has already raised interest rates, and the Bank of Japan is also planning to hike. Oil prices remain high. Meanwhile, most of the U.S. tech giants are taking on massive debt to develop AI, which is a national strategy for the U.S. Raising rates would impact AI development, but not raising rates would worsen inflation, putting the Fed in a tough spot. This massive disagreement and uncertainty in the market will inevitably make it hard for U.S. stocks and Bitcoin prices to rise, and they might even see a pullback. Whether there will actually be a rate hike depends on the Fed's meeting on September 16. My bet: no rate hike in September, but December is harder to predict.
