According to *Lianhe Zaobao*, luxury goods and high-end jewelry seized in Singapore's SGD 3 billion money laundering case have started going up for public auction. The first two batches include over 600 branded handbags, accessories, and jewelry, with an estimated total value of SGD 2.9 million to 3.9 million. The auction house plans to hold 15 timed online auctions, running until mid-2027.
The case came to light in 2023, when Singapore police arrested 10 foreign nationals during island-wide operations. Assets worth over SGD 3 billion were seized or subjected to prohibition disposal orders. Police previously disclosed that one of the suspects, Su Baolin, had received illegal overseas online gambling proceeds via USDT and converted part of the USDT into at least SGD 463,000 in cash in 2023. He also reportedly used USDT to purchase a Toyota Alphard.
