According to Protos, Coinmint shareholder Mintvest Capital has accused Coinmint CEO Ashton Soniat in a revised complaint of falsifying the deployment timeline for mining machines and transferring 448.7193 BTC generated during the so-called 'testing period' into his personal wallet. The allegations also include securities fraud and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Mintvest claims that Coinmint has accumulated profits exceeding $570 million, with Mintvest holding an 18.2% stake. They are demanding at least $104 million in undistributed profits and $47.1 million in compensation for the allegedly misappropriated BTC.
