I have a question 🙋‍♂️ @Jason: Does anyone in Washington give a 💩 about the more than $40 trillion dollars in debt America finds itself in? Since 2023, each new $1T in debt has typically taken about 70–100 days to add. It took just 73 days to add $1T after the debt passed $37 trillion. Most recently, it took only 71 days to add $1 trillion - bringing the total to $38.019 trillion. As of today, the debt is at $40.13 trillion and increasing by roughly $1 trillion every 67 days, OR ABOUT $15 BILLION PER DAY! For comparison, the debt took 205 years to reach its first trillion. 205 YEARS TO REACH ITS FIRST TRILLION IN DEBT. Soon, it will only take TWO MONTHS. Maybe we should elect people who give a 💩(John E Deaton)
