[AI Chip Startup Positron Raises $875 Million at a $5 Billion Valuation] Odaily Planet Daily reports that AI chip startup Positron, which focuses on designing hardware to help AI models run faster, announced it has raised $875 million at a $5 billion valuation, marking a significant increase in the company's value over the past six months. This round of funding was co-led by venture capital firms NEA, Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, Andra Capital, SemiAnalysis Capital led by analyst Dylan Patel, and Netscape co-founder Jim Clark. Positron raised $230 million in its most recent funding round in February of this year, when it was valued at $1 billion.
