[Goldman Sachs: Apple iPhone 18 Pro Price Increases by $100, Carrier Subsidies Offset Up to $1,200]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on September 10, according to Trend Research, Goldman Sachs stated in a research report on September 9 that Apple has launched the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, and AirPods 5. The starting price of the iPhone Duo is $1,999, while the starting prices of the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max have been raised by $100 to $1,199 and $1,299, respectively. AT&T and T-Mobile are offering subsidies of up to $1,200, making the effective price of the iPhone 18 Pro $0 under eligible plans. Goldman Sachs believes that the premiumization of products will support an upward trend in iPhone ASP (average selling price), partially offsetting cost pressures. Goldman Sachs maintains a Buy rating for Apple with a target price of $360, based on a forward P/E ratio of 37x. Key risks include weak consumer demand, supply chain disruptions, intensified competition, and regulatory pressures.
