According to Bloomberg, the U.S. corporate expense management platform Ramp is in discussions with investors for a new round of funding, aiming to raise approximately $1 billion at a valuation of around $60 billion, a significant increase from its $44 billion valuation three months ago. Sources familiar with the matter stated that negotiations are still ongoing, and specific terms may change. Founded in 2019, Ramp has expanded its business from startup expense management to payment processing and AI risk control. To date, it has raised a total of $3 billion, with investors including Iconiq, Thrive Capital, and Founders Fund. As of June this year, Ramp's annualized revenue has surpassed $1.5 billion. Its main competitor, Brex, was acquired by Capital One Financial in the U.S. this year for $5.15 billion.
