AI Chip Startup Celero Completes $275 Million Financing, Valuation Exceeds $3 Billion

According to Bloomberg, AI chip startup Celero Communications announced the completion of $275 million in financing, with the company's valuation exceeding $3 billion. This round of financing was jointly led by Atreides Management, Valor Equity Partners, and Alphabet's venture capital arm CapitalG. Founded in 2024, Celero primarily develops coherent digital signal processors (DSP) for optical data transmission in AI systems, which enhance high-speed data transmission efficiency between data centers as well as between different server racks within a single data center. This technology helps build larger-scale AI chip clusters. It is reported that Gavin Baker, managing partner and chief investment officer of Atreides, will join Celero's board of directors.
