Good Monday night, brothers.
Today marks the 615th day of my DCA journey with OKX, and I’ve checked in for today’s investment.
Aside from my regular BTC DCA, I made a portfolio adjustment today:
Sold half of my SOL and LINK,
and redirected those funds back into BTC DCA.
The logic is pretty simple.
It’s not because I’m bearish on SOL or LINK,
but because I need to free up some funds in the account right now. Plus, LINK has already generated some profit, so I’m cashing out the gains.
As for SOL, it hasn’t turned a profit yet, so this is more about reducing the position size.
It’s not about chasing highs or cutting losses, but about realigning the overall portfolio to the main strategy:
BTC as the core,
ETH stays,
SOL/LINK to reduce volatility,
and cash for flexibility.
Currently, the account is still in profit, with unrealized gains of about 3.91%.
The average BTC price is around 75,800, and today’s price is hovering near 79,500.
The longer I DCA, the more I realize that the most important thing isn’t selling every position at the peak, but knowing when to scale back.
Some money is for offense,
some money is for defense,
and some money is to ensure you can keep DCA-ing in the future.
Today’s adjustment is all about:
Reducing altcoin positions a bit,
Shifting more certainty toward the BTC main strategy,
And keeping some flexibility in the account.
The market moves slowly, and I’ll keep buying slowly too.
For DCA, I only use OKX.
