[Elon Musk Suspected of Mistakenly Trusting a Hacked Account, Responds to Post, Leading to Hacker-Deployed Token 'Going to Zero']
BlockBeats news, September 5: According to disclosures from Arkham, Elon Musk is suspected of mistakenly replying to a hacked X account. The hacked @shivon account had previously posted two consecutive tweets about the SLINK project. Musk subsequently replied "", sparking market speculation that he supported the project. After the market capitalization of the SLINK token briefly surged to $40 million, it plummeted and gradually 'went to zero.' The @shivon account has since deleted the related posts and is suspected of being hacked.
Trader Aurelius0121 stated that, upon seeing Musk interacting with the @shivon account, he mistakenly believed Musk was supporting a project related to his romantic partner and thus purchased approximately $250,000 worth of SLINK tokens. However, the token's price subsequently crashed to zero, resulting in a total loss of funds.
Shivon Zilis (@shivon) is a Canadian tech executive and venture capitalist, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Special Projects at Musk's brain-machine interface company Neuralink. She is also the mother of several of Musk's children. [Original link]
