I might be the only blogger who publicly posted on Twitter about MicroStrategy ($MSTR) taking off before its launch? On August 17, the internal notice suggested an entry price of $93-94. By August 19, when I tweeted and strongly recommended getting in, the price was $102-104. Those who entered earlier saw a 53% return, while those who followed my tweet still gained 39%. And you, my friend, what were you doing? When it's time for swing trading, you swing trade. From June 27 to August 7, we executed no fewer than four swing trades on MicroStrategy. During this period, the strategy was to adopt a swing trading mindset because it was clearly in a consolidation phase, and the short-term adjustment wasn’t ending yet. But as the adjustment neared its end and the trend was about to emerge, it was time to act and then patiently wait. After a lengthy consolidation, on August 17, we saw the adjustment coming to an end, followed by a trending market. That’s when you hold onto your long positions and let the profits fly. Trading isn’t complicated—just follow the trend. Last night’s breakout at $135.82 confirmed that $121.4 was the end of the adjustment. The rise from $121.4 matches the scale of the two red upward segments on the left side of Chart 2. Until bitcoin:native confirms a peak, MicroStrategy’s upward trend won’t end either. In essence, the rise from $81.81 is a rebound against the black downward segment in Chart 2.
