At Namanga, Kajiado Central Constituency, commissioned the Namanga Sub-Station, a Kenya Electricity Transmission Company project that is part of the 132kV Machakos-Konza-Isinya-Namanga Transmission Line. The project will strengthen the reliability and stability of power supply in the region and support the growing economic activities along the border. Also inspected the progress of the KSh50 million Namanga Modern Market, which will provide a trading facility for 120 traders and enhance commerce in the commercially important border town.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
