According to Digital Asset, the annual report titled "2026 Financial Hub Construction and Development Policies and Trends" submitted by South Korea's Financial Services Commission (FSC) to the National Assembly reveals that the FSC plans to continue operating the "Digital Asset Task Force (TF)" until 2028. The goal is to fully prepare for the drafting, implementation, and supporting legislation of the "Basic Act on Digital Assets" (Phase 2 bill), as well as to promote the establishment of relevant industry associations and ecosystem infrastructure. The FSC pointed out that South Korea's current regulations focus on preventing illegal activities and protecting investors, but there is still a lack of institutional support in industry and market dimensions such as "business practices, information disclosure, and circulation." The government plans to collaborate with the Virtual Asset Committee and consult with political parties to finalize the core content of the "Basic Act on Digital Assets" within 2026. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/news-67651
