NVDA - NVIDIA INVESTS $3.5 BILLION IN MEDIATEK TO EXPAND AI ECOSYSTEM Nvidia will invest $3.5 billion in MediaTek through convertible bonds, deepening their AI chip partnership. MediaTek will adopt Nvidia’s NVLink Fusion and NVHBM technologies, expanding Nvidia’s role in connecting custom chips inside AI data centers. The deal comes as MediaTek targets up to 15% of an $80 billion data-center segment next year and expects about $2 billion in AI chip revenue this year.
