[Hong Kong Monetary Authority, SFC, and Others Jointly Announce the First Batch of GenA.I. Sandbox++ Participants] Odaily Planet Daily News – The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Insurance Authority, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, and Hong Kong Cyberport have jointly announced the list of participants for the first phase of the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenA.I.) Sandbox++. Out of nearly 100 proposed solutions, 36 use cases have been selected for the first phase of GenA.I. Sandbox++, involving a total of 30 financial institutions and 27 technology partners, including Bank of China (Hong Kong), China Asset Management (Hua Xia Fund), Ant Blockchain, Google, IBM, and others. The first phase of GenA.I. Sandbox++ will focus on exploring applications of Agentic AI. In addition to content generation, the selected use cases will further investigate how to responsibly enhance AI autonomy. The testing will cover end-to-end processes in areas such as customer onboarding, payments, insurance claims, and customer interactions.
