This year's games are jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and China Media Group, featuring a total of 50 events. Compared to the first edition, the requirements for this year's competition are stricter: aside from the 100-meter and 400-meter obstacle races, all other events must be completed fully autonomously, and the completion times for the three speed events have been compressed to 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 15 minutes.
