**[BofA Survey: Investor Bullish Sentiment Hits Near Five-Year High, Few "Bears" Left in the Market]**
Odaily Planet Daily News – The latest fund manager survey by Bank of America (BofA) reveals that global investors are continuing to increase their allocation to equities, with bullish sentiment reaching its highest level in nearly five years. The number of pessimistic investors in the market has significantly decreased.
The team led by BofA strategist Michael Hartnett stated that the latest survey shows a net 56% of fund managers are overweight equities, the highest level since November 2021. Meanwhile, the proportion of investor cash allocation has dropped to an "extremely low" 3.5%.
The survey results indicate that as global investors increase their equity positions, market risk appetite has clearly risen. However, this also suggests that the room for further upside may be limited. Hartnett believes that current investor allocations have become crowded, and bearish forces in the market are diminishing.
The survey reflects that, driven by expectations of a soft economic landing, the artificial intelligence investment boom, and improved liquidity forecasts, institutional investors are increasingly willing to allocate to risk assets. At the same time, the lower cash holdings imply that if adverse market factors arise, the pressure for portfolio adjustments could increase. (Bloomberg)
