BTC has been moving sideways for over a month, with the biggest fluctuations being around $2,000 up or down. Traders who managed to make money in BTC during this month are probably few and far between. Personally, I didn’t make much either—just going back and forth with take-profits and stop-losses. Had to look for opportunities in other markets. What’s even more frustrating is that Bitcoin’s 7-day average spot trading volume has plummeted from $9 billion to less than $4 billion. Meanwhile, over in the U.S. stock market storage sector, things are exploding. On a weekday, SanDisk hit a single-day trading volume of $10 billion, and Micron surged to $34.6 billion. A single stock can completely outshine the entire BTC market. In simple terms, everyone’s moving their money to U.S. stocks, giving liquidity to that market, leaving BTC severely undernourished. In this kind of market, you either stay in cash or play around with small positions in U.S. stocks to kill the boredom.
